Hey there browngurl30! I'm so sorry your feeling so emotional this time! IVF is a very emotional roller coaster that a lot of people don't understand. You are not alone. What you are feeling is totally normal. As much as our families and DH's try to understand what we are going through, they really don't get it. When I did my first IVF last Sept 09 and got a BFN, my DH was like it's ok, not the end of the world so move on. I was a wreck. How could you tell me to move on when we just lost our baby? Yeah, we couldn't see it but still. He never really understand my pain and sadness and he still doesn't. We both have accepted that we deal with our emotions differently but we still support each other. He is way more onboard this time and we will be starting IVF#2 in July. I would love to be your cycle buddy. Ask me any questions any time. We are all here for each other. When do you start your stims? Best of luck to you this cycle. That's the group of all of us doing IVF any point this calendar year. It helps sooo much!

You are so not alone in your feelings! I feel much the same as you. I get so angry when people get pregnant without even trying. I don't like the person that IF is making me ...jealous and angry all the time. I told DH yesterday that IF affects every day of my life in a negative way. We are starting IVF this cycle. I start Lupron on 6/24 and it will be our first IVF. I'm nervous and scared but also excited! I think it will help to have cycle buddies here on DS.

I'm here with you too!! I start dex this Thursday. I'm on IVF #3 so really am hoping for a BFP this time around!!
No need to worry about being emotional and no need to feel bad about it. We are going through very emotional times and all these drugs really mess with your body, mind and honestly your soul.
We are all here for each other and will support you no matter what!! :)

i will be going thru my 5th IVF cycle in july,and hoping to get a BFP this time,i will be on a diferent protocol,i also have high prolactin,my new RE had me stop the meds because it got my levels too low ,it might be the reason none of my cycles worked.i hope we all get our miracles this time!

I'll be your July buddy. I certainly understand the need for someone who understands. I either get the traditional "hang in there" words of encouragement but they always seem to fall flat since I know the person doesn't really understand what I'm going through. I try to talk to my DH about the possibilities of miscarriage or a child with Downs syndrome even though I've been taking prenatal vitamins for about 4 years now. But he tries to avoid those talks and just worry about them when the time comes. He says he tries to not get his hopes up and get too excited because he knows I am, and that he needs to be the level headed one. But I told him it's ok to get a little excited and that he can't control my ups and downs. So I said all of that to say I would love to keep up talking with others going through this. I'm even worried about telling people too soon if we get a BFP. But I know I won't be able to restrain myself if we do. But then worry about having to tell the dissapointing news of mc if we have to. Ya know what I mean? BABY DUST TO US ALL!

Hello...I also started BCP till the 16th and would love a buddy....someone to chat with and who understands what we all go through....I too have family and friends who dont understand cause they have never been there.....

I can also see it from both sides.....I have 3 grown children from a previous marriage and new husband doesnt have any natural children...I didn't have it in my heart to say that it was something that was never gonna happen.....this is our second attempt and the emotional roller coaster is the same if not worse than the 1st....not to mention that I had a tubal 18 years ago and had it reversed after the 1st failed attempt.....and then tried naturally for 16 months only to get a ppt in may and to miscarry 3 days later....

I feel for all who go through this process....talk to you all soon

I'll be your IVF buddy. I am new to all of this and I don't quite understand all the language just yet. I am scheduled to start mid to end of July all depending on my cycle. I have no idea what they are putting me on but it's all scary to me. I am so upset about having to give myself shots and the whole retreival day. I cry all the time and my husband gets frustrated w/ me. He thinks this is all a good thing and it is but I can't get past all that we (girls) have to go through. Everybody keeps telling me to keep my eye on the prize. That's easy for them to say. I NEVER had surgery or a procedure other than my wisdom teeth in my life. I'm a nervous wreck about the whole retreival procedure. I can't get passed the embarrassement of being put to sleep in that position. I know it's nothing to the Dr's but it's something to me. I'm still in the angry stage and wish every day that I can reach excitment. I am very upset about the meds and all the side affects weight and emotions. I resent every pregnant girl/woman I see. I can't help but stare because I want it so bad.

i also will start injections in july i don't know the day yet,it will be 10 days after i ovulate,on my first cycle i felt like you about the injections and the retrieval but it is not so bad,the shots do not hurt,if you do it with one fast strike you won't feel the needle getting into the skin,the needle is very thin and small, about the retrieval i never felt anything but a little disconfort for one or two days on my left and right sides over the ovaries but no big deal,what hurts really bad is to get a BFN,but i hope you won't get one.i heard that acupuncture helps a lot .good luck!

Hey gals! I wanna join! I am on my 4th day of stim meds...I go in for my first B/W and U/S on Tuesday! I would love to meet others that are going though the same thing. This is my 1st (and hopefully last) IVF cycle. After doing 7 IUI's (one preg. and miscarriage at 8 weeks) we decided it was time to move on. We will be doing ICSI because of male IF.

Happy 4th of July to our American friends south of the border....hhope you all had a great holiday....we of course celebrated our 143 rd birthday on Thursday albiet without fireworks as it was too windy up here in the frozen north....lol....hope you all are progressing well on your ivf adventure....we are now day 10 of BCP....I am totally bloated, my clothes dont fit....I usually retain several pounds of water during AF but this is ridiculous....we start injections on the 19th...doing a microflare protocol this time....should be interesting as the amounts for the meds have doubled (should make me good and grunchy, that and we are using completely different ones and a whole lot of new ones....our estimated date for the ER is July 31 (my 40th birthday) and DH wants to know what I wanna do that evening...are you kidding.....hoping for a day 5 transfer like last time.....had perfect embryos....

I am doing my IVF this month. I have been on BCP for a week and starting Lupron today. Egg retrieval is scheduled to be around the 28th with embryo transfer either the 31st or 2nd. Good luck to everyone. I'm nervous about this process. I have only done IUI with injectables. 8 to be exact with one BFP resulting in my DS. I hope you all have positive outcomes!
