IUI timing...???

I have a few choice words right now... none of them good. I am using the clear blue easy digital OPK monitor test this time around because that's what my RE suggested. And low and behold.. the smiley face came up today! They don't do IUI's on Sundays, so I have to wait until Monday morning.

I tried to look up online to see if there are success rates or anything regarding having the IUI done 2 days after a positive surge... I am just somewhat bummed that it happened this way. I was really hoping I wouldn't see that smiley face until tomorrow. =o(

Has anyone heard of positive results even when the IUI is done 2 days after + opk?

I don't have success rates but I know there were times that we had to do the IUI the day after. Forget the sample results and have some timed intercourse today (the + test means you'll ov 24-48 hours and the egg lives 24 hours) so if you TI today and then IUI Monday you'll still catch the window.

My timing rarely worked when I wanted to either.....LOL....I think it's a sign that we don't have control and have to remember it. Good luck.

Good luck to you. I was thinking of buying that that monitor. Its the pricey one right? Would you reccomend the monitor to others.

Hey - I think qbfan is right on, totally agree with the TIC today advice just to be safe!! And what is up with your DR not doing IUI's on Sundays? Ovulation does not run on business hours! I am having an A.I. on Monday as well, you will be in my thoughts! Good luck!!!
