I had my first IUI on April 6th. I took Follistim and ovidrel to trigger (which I did on the 4th). I am still very crampy (I am currently 9 days post iui and cycle day 21). I am so bloated that my pants don't fit anymore and my breasts are still so tender. It hurts when I walk and sleep!! I just need to know if this is normal, should I call my doctor? I didn't know what to anticipate. Any help would be wonderful..

I had an IUI done on Easter Sunday and am very crampy. I ovulated late and am on cycle day 27, but my cycles are normally around 33-35 days. Good Luck to you and here is to hoping for a bfp!

the trigger shot will give u pregnancy symptoms, I usually start getting mine about 5days after the IUI (sore breast, crampy or mild cramps, smells, tastes, etc) everyone is different. Im not as crampy like my first IUI,i have a twinge every now and then and my breast r sore and bloated too....hang in there, hopefully af doesnt show and we get our bfp!!!!

I had my first IUI done April 10th. I too am crampy started yesturday, I am on cycle day 22 right now. Cramping for me seems to be more on one side then the other. I am wishing you a BFP!!!!!!!!!! If it still bothers you and you are worried you should call your doctor so they can let you know what is normal.

I've had two IUI's. The first one I experienced mild cramping the day of and some slight bleeding from the cervix due to clamping it open. Then a week later I started cramping again and had sore breasts for a day or so. The cramping went away, but came back right before AF.

My second IUI took place on Easter Sunday. I was crampy Sunday and Monday - with twinges on one side. I have not been given any shots of any kind after either IUI. I take Clomid to stimulate ovulation though.

Everything that you are describing is totally normal; i had the exact same symptoms from the follistim and ovidrel. There is no need to call your doctor.

All of these symtoms do sound normal. I would just make sure to drink lots of fluids since you are so bloated. If you do have OHSS then it will help flush out your body. The cramping is normal too. With each IUI I would cramp a lot. GL! I had IUI #3 and just got my first ever BFP!!! So it works :)
