Hi all! I am new to this group. We have been TTC for over a year now, and this cycle we are trying an IUI with Clomid. I have my ultrasound on Monday, 3/5. I am an emotional wreck. I feel like no one told me about how Clomid would affect my body and what the IUI process entailed. I have been crying everyday, I'm irritable and not pleasant to be around. This is definitely not me or who I am. I don't feel like I can connect with anyone on this, and no one knows what I am going through.

Hi! I can totally relate to how and who you are on clomid! I was on it for 2 months and it was terrible!! I literally cried at every other little thing, it really got to the point where it wasn't fair to either me or my husband. That wasn't who he signed up for with me, and i was miserable. Thankfully, i stopped it but ohhh man!!

The IUI process is a big step being on the journey. I had 2 failed ones, and the first 2ww was really hard. Do you have any questions that maybe i can help answer about it? I have 0 pain tolerance, and it didn't bother me at all.

Hi! I’ve been going through the IUI process as well. They have me on Letrozole though and it’s been good for me. I got pregnant with my daughter doing that process. Now, we’re trying for another baby. I know what you’re going through, please know what you’re feeling is normal and I feel that way too. It’s not an easy process and is very frustrating and emotional. I’m here for you if you need to vent.

Clomid was SO hard on my body! It made me bloated, messed with my digestion, I was irritable! It was not a good time at all! Give yourself plenty of grace and forgiveness! Your are putting your body on roller coaster! It is worth it when it works, but not an easy process!

I despise Clomid! I would bawl for an hour about nothing. It affected my work. Now I'm on Letrozole and it's so much better. Hugs and prayers.

Thank you! I'll ask my doc about Letrozole. I'm praying this IUI works this cycle.
