Hi everyone...


This is my first post and am very new to all of this. My husband and I have been trying for our first and only baby for 5 years now. Medically we have been told that it is unexplained primary infertility as their has been no hereditary/negative results from either side after years of testing and different forms of alternatives. They can't seem to find the problem. My gynae suspected Endo in which I went for a hsg and lap last year July in which level 2 endo was found and removed. She suggested 6 months of medication free trying but unfortunately never conceived. She has put me on clomid 50mg and femara 2.5 mg for 6 months before she will refer me to a fertility specialist. We had tried clomid before the lap unsuccessfully. This is my first round of the 6 month trial period and am in my 2ww. Everything is saying no but my heart and spirit says yes! Am hoping to encourage other women to not give up hope. Anyone else in similar shoes? Baby dust to all!

I wish you luck. My Husband and I have been trying for about three years we did Clomid with my regular GYN and we have now done two IUI and one IVF starting a new cycle of IVF. I hope you have luck. I know many people that have had luck with all different things, so keep your hopes up.

Thank you @michie97! How did it go with your clomid rounds and are you trying for your first? If you don't mind me asking. It seems like you are doing now what my Gyn has advised we don't next should the clomid not work but that IVF would be our only option. I'm entering into the 2ww and it's driving me nuts! All the very best to you this round! May it be s big success. Pls keep me updated as I would love to know what to expect!

Mommy in training, The Clomid did not help me I had no success with it, That was why my doctor felt it was best to do more as I am 37 now and can not wait much longer. The two week wait is the worst, because you want to hope but do not was let down if you hope too much. I hope you get good news, and do not have to go any further. Baby dust to you.

I should be going for my retrieval this week, and the transfer next week, and then the awful 2WW. But trying to stay hopeful. . How is your wait going? When do you get to test?

Aw man that's at least something to look forward to! I actually posted because I'm so unsure about what's going on with me and won't be able to speak with my gynae until next week. I had a terrible 2 day light pink to heavy red bleed at 8-13dpo and then nothing so I am so confused as I read that it could be an implantation bleed but am not sure if it's just the hormones and clomid adjusting? Don't think I'm ready for another disappointment in testing just yet but won't be able to take my second months dosage without testing first so I'm really confused.....
