Hi everyone, this is my first post. I joined this group as we head into our first attempt at medicated IUI. We have been TTC for three years now and are looking forward to this next cycle of ART. I guess I just wanted to meet other people who experienced this and understand what we're going through. It seems nobody I know can relate and I feel like I just need to know that there are other people who share this struggle, so I don't feel so alone about it.

Hi, we've been TTC for over 2 years, and I just had my first medicated IUI yesterday and my husbands sperm sample was a low count (its never been this low). We were feeling frustrated when we found out the count for the IUI, but then the NP said that is just takes one and she's seen it happen with even a lower count than what we had. I was taking Femara, did the Ovitrel trigger shot, and now on progesterone. I know how you feel and you are not alone. Good luck with everything!

Good luck to you Klondy! I hope this is a great cycle for you :) it just takes one.

How does the progesterone work? I have read that can be used to help with uterine lining etc. Which I'm now worried about because the Clomid can adversely affect the lining. Do you use OTC or prescription?

I just joined today too. TTC for 2 years, I cant imagine throwing another year ontop of that, which is where you are at! I have seen so many friends getting pregnant over 2 years, it must be so much worse for you as its been longer. Its sad but nice to hear there are others out there!
If i get told one more time to..."just stop trying and relax then it will happen, it happened to my bests friends sisters cousin"
Ahhhhhh!!!! How can i relax, i cant stop my bdays rolling over!
