Infection in Uterus

Hello everyone. I am becoming so drained with the whole IF process. Well to start me and my bf have been ttc for about 5 years now. After my first FET i became pregnant. I lost my baby boy at 7 weeks on 8/14. We then decided that we want to move forward with a second FET cycle. I had a hysteroscopy on 10/21. I went for my post op appointment today and they told me that I had an infection in my uterus so now I am on 4 types of antibiotics and Im taking Lupron and BCP's. Has anyone ever had this before. What does this come from. I am just so tired. This whole process is scary and draining and I am jst becoming stressed over it all. Im trying to remain calm but its hard.

i had a uterine biopsy and found out i had an inflamation in the uterine linen,i just finished my two weeeks of antibiocs yesterday,i will have another biopsy on nov 8th to see if the inflamation is gone,i guess it is something that happens when we do IVF,i hope you feel better soon and that your uterus heals fast.

It just doesnt make any sense to me. Where does this come from, does it come back, and could this have been the reason i lost my baby. Im just getting sick of this. I dont know how much more i can handle.

I don't know if this could've been the reason - you could ask your doc about this. But whenever you put something in the uterus that's not supposed to be there - like during hysteroscopy a camera goes there, and during IVF there're different instruments that go into the uterus to transfer embies - there's a risk of infection. Just like with any intervention. Some clinics give you antibiotics after egg retrieval to ward off possible infection. I would ask your doc if he would prescribe you some next time you have a FET so you can take them for a few days just in case.

I am so sorry to hear about this. fertility treatment is an exhausting and stressful thing. You have been dealing with this a long time. try not get to stressed out. I hope you feel better soon. baby dust and lots of hugs!
