I was just wondering how many follicles you had and what were their sizes when you went in for your trigger shot.
I currently have 3 follicles (11mm, 14mm, and 16.5mm) I go back friday for another u/s and hopefully my trigger.
just curious cause it's my first IUI haven't experienced any of this before

I am on Femara. I had my 1st IUI last cycle with two follicles. One was 19mm the other 25mm when they gave me the trigger shot. I was told they can grow from 1-2 mm a day. Just a warning- you may have some cramping and OV pain with 3 follicles. I did and I had two. Generally they consider follicles over 18 mature. But, my RE said they triggered one lady with a 19, an 11, and a 13 or something, expecting her to OV one and she got pregnant with triplets.... So, sorry to confuse you more & hope this helps even though I am on Femara. Good luck to you!!!

that didn't confuse me that helped. i am on clomid and follistim combined. i'm more worried about having a thick enough lining than anything else. they gave me some extra follistim yesterday to help with growth and lining. i just hope friday looks good and this all work

We are on our 2ww after our first IUI with Clomid. I have no idea how many follicles. They just had me do an OPK at home and we did the IUI the day after it was positive.

Lining should be above 8mm, mine was 10. something last month....good luck and may your lining do it's job!!!!

My last cycle I did Clomid with Follistim. I had 4 follicles the night I triggered. I don't remember how big they were. Sounds like you are rght on track. Good luck!

I am not sure how large they were but on clomid I had 5. I switched to femera because of lining issues and I only produced 1. Good luck!

I used Follistim and triggered with Ovidrel. I had 25mm, 22mm and 17mm. They told me those would grow another 1-2mm a day between when I triggered and the IUI, so I have a chance of triplets. I had quite a bit of pain from my ovaries by the time I triggered. I had to wait unitl 8pm that night to trigger and I was in tears begging my DH to just do the shot for me. I felt like I was going to explode! But I ended up with a BFP from it and we find out Monday how many I have! One more thing to mention, they will check your Estradiol level also to make sure you are producing enough to have your eggs be mature. They like to have the E2 level around 300 per egg or they could possibly end up not being mature enough to fertilize. Good Luck!

I have produced 3 mature follicles both times on 100mg of clomid and IUI. Last time they were 25mm, 23mm, and 21mm. Needless to say I was in some pain. We are in the 2ww of our second IUI.

I just got done my first IUI. I had 2 follies..25 and 28. Everything looked "perfect" but unfortunatly I got AF today!

Well iv'e had 2 failed IUI i had lots of small follicles..re couldn't find that big one that bought on Owell good luck and baby dust
