I know it's hard but I try my best not to think that way. The negativity is not helpful and it doesn't change my circumstances. So, like you, you're turning towards action to get yourself towards your goal. I'm sorry for your IUI failing- but with each step and procedure, you're one step closer. On my darkest days I still try to tell myself that I have no idea where I will be a year from now. You very well may have that big, preggo belly! I hope I can have a big, preggo belly as well :) Keep on going, take time for yourself when things get rough and be selfish with your emotions. It's all about you right now, do what makes you feel good and what works for you to get through. Hang in there- you're working so hard for your baby and they will reap the benefits from having such a strong mama! HUGS!
Like Courage said, take care of yourself, do the things that still bring you joy. When I am feeling down I try to do the things that I know I wouldn't be able to do if I had a baby....stay up late, head out with my hubby to grab dinner or a cocktail, head out for a quick little shopping trip, even if its just window shopping. I know that it doesn't fix anything or change my situation but sometimes it can change my attitude and help me to appreciate the pre baby days a little more. Like you I am over the pre baby days and want to move on and experience having a family but until then I do my best to focus on the many blessings in my life (in between my melt downs of course) haha
Just know that you're not alone in how you feel, hoping you find some peace today and time to take care of yourself.
((HUGS))
Myself : Ive had 3 early m/cs at around 5 wks, 1 ectopic loss and a failed IVF with a m/c of 2 sacs. Now because of my age and probably crappy eggs Im moving on to an egg donor. Its all very expensive and emotional but it can still work. The success of DE IVF with my RE is 71% & my age is not a factor. So I have found hope again.
Please dont lose hope. If you want it you will find a way. Dont think you wont be able to have a baby.
We are here for you!
I met a distant relative of mine who had a baby with his gf, broke up and shes been letting strange men into the house who have threatened the poor innocent baby. and the police are also after the babys dad.
how can people like that have babies so easily, where as people like us who would give anything to protect our children and give them the best we can offer, are struggling and going through hell?
Whenever im feeling this down, i try to remember that, when the day finally comes that i can hold a baby in my hands, it will all be worth it. every difficult day will be worth it in the end. we have to stay strong.
