I chose a clinic close to my home, Monterey Bay IVF. Check out their website. I love the doctor, he is very informative and kind and his staff is also very nice and professional. The clinic itself is beautiful and has a calming affect for me. The doctor even answers my questions and concerns via email which I love in case I've forgotten to ask something at my visits. He also has a blog in which he answers questions from around the world regarding infertility.
Best of luck to you!
I live in southern California and did my IVF clincial trial at HRC fertility in Encino, CA and they took excellent care of me. My doctor was Dr. Boostanfar who is the same doctor who helped "The Little Couple" on TLC try to conceive.
I'm also going in for a consultation end of July at Acacio Fertility located in Laguna Nigel, CA which is closer to my home. According to certain data I've read, they have above average success rates.
Both clinics are on sart.org.
Good Luck!!!
From the initial consult I should have changed doctors. After all the initial tests that were done, I was never given the results to and/or explaination or what my condition (if any) is. Dr. Anderson told me that the best route for us would be IUI. Like I said they have all been negative.
I'm currently looking for a new doctor and reading a lot on different procedures and the DS community has definately helped with many of my questions.
I would recommend to do plenty of research and ask tons of questions, I think that was my biggest mistake. I was new at it and trusted thay my doctor would do what was best for us.
Good luck in your search.

Several journals have ranked the clinic in the top in the country (one ranked it 6th in the nation and another "one of the 17 Fertility Centers of Excellence") One of the docs was on the Oprah Winfrey show twice discussing IF. I don't know why I am so impressed by that given that I never actually watched her show, but I am. :)
I absolutely love the staff, including the docs and nurses. My DH has been really happy and comfortable with them, too (which is saying a lot).
