I am need here and have nobody to talk to.I feel so alone on the subject of infertility.No one knows how I feel.I feel like babies and pregnancy is everywhere! Ugh.I wish it was me.I am going on 30 and just want a baby.I am the last in my family to have a baby.I am also the only one who is married.I am going back to the doctors on the 27th.I am excited to get retested and get the process going.I always have questions and noone ever has answers.So any support would be great.Thanks for listening.

I can tell you, I totally understand. I am your age and have been trying for 3 years. This honestly has been the hardest thing me (and my marriage) has endured. I just received an email yesterday from my high school friend announcing she's pregnant with her #4. My stomach dropped. I've been trying about the same amount of time as her. Something I've strived for is to live each day and focus on the good things that come with not having kids (sleep, freedom, dates with your friends, etc.) I know this is hitting the core of your womanhood, and those things seem menial, but there is more to life than kids (which we/I I I often forget). I am so sorry to hear you are in this too.

Sometimes it is hard to keep a smile on my face.I get the same way with my husband.He doesn't quite understand how I am feeling.I thank God for all the things in my life I do have.I am very thankful.PLease if you ever want to talk,I will listen.

I am also hoping this will by my year. I am 33 and have been married for 14 years. We have been trying on/off for the last 12 and we are finally taking that IVF leap. They keep putting it on hold because of other problems they have been finding along the way. I am here if you need someone to talk to. I am the ONY one in my family with no children as well.

My DH and I are both 31 and we're getting close to the TTC for one year mark. At this point we haven't tried any infertility treatments, but I'm afraid that point is getting closer and closer. I am an only child and my parents only chance for grandchildren. Ironically, they aren't the ones who are pressuring us, it's my in-laws who already have two grandchildren. I feel like I have a healthy perspective on things, but I fear that if we do start facing treatments, my demeanor may falter.

Anyway, welcome to the group. I have found the information here and support wonderful and it really helps knowing that I'm not alone.

I feel the same way as you. I am turning 31 in June, and am still hopeful. My hubby and I are going on 10 years in November, so hopefully this is my year as well.Good luck!

I am also hoping this will be my year... I am 34 I am one of 7 kids, I have been married 10 years, and with my husband for 15. I was the first one of my sisters married, and the only one still TTC. One of my sisters announced a month ago she was pregnant again. I want to be happy for her and when I cried then I felt guilty for not being happy for her, its a vicious cycle. Last summer my husband was holding my nephew and my mom said to my husband (very innocently) Oh my god he could be yours, as much as he looks like you. When I turned around it took everything in me not to cry, HE DOES. He could easily pass for my husbands, as well as his older sister looks just like me. People have said to me your daughter looks just like you and I have to tell them that she is my niece.
