Hyperstimulation - help

On u/s yesterday the re told me I had mild hyperstimulation. I haven't put on any weight so I'm not to worried but my ovaries do hurt.
Anyone have any tips on how to make it go away. Re said it should go away soon but my retrival was a month ago.

Drink lots and lots of Gatorade for a few days. I know it sounds odd but I got hyper stimulated last month pretty bad and had so much swelling that the fluid backed up into my lungs. The sodium in the Gatorade pulls the fluid back into your blood vessels and allows you to pass it. My ovaries were huge when I went back to my RE and then two days later after drinking the Gatorade they did another ultrasound and they went down alot as well as the swelling. They also didn't hurt as much. I know pregnancy will make the swelling and pain linger for a little so don't be alarmed if it hangs around for a few weeks. Good luck and I hope u feel better soon !

Gatorade, lots of it! That is about the only option. I overstimmed on my second injectible cycle. I ended up needing $700 worth of ganirelex. I wasn't in pain, just a little uncomfortable.

I agree, Gatorade.

Also, one of the other girls on here (Megs I think) ended up with hyperstimulation a few weeks after retrieval as well. Her RE said something about the pregnancy hormones can cause it/make it worse it after IVF. So some women do not see signs of it until after they get their BFPs. That's why you are just seeing it now.
