OK girlies...I need your thoughts and prayers for my HSG test tomorrow. I just want this behind me and to know my fallopian tubes are OK. I seriously am so nervous, my heart is racing just writing this post and thinking about it.

I hope I feel OK afterwards. My sister in law is taking me to the appt. but I have to go into work afterwards...so I really hope I feel OK. I know if there's nothing wrong with my fallopians that I should feel fine...I'm just concerned with how I will feel if there is something wrong.

Originally I told my boss depending on what happens I may or may not come in to work that day...but another girl in my department is in the hospital so I have to come in because I cover for her.

ANYWAY...just wish me luck girlies...your thoughts are all I need to get through this.

take some strong asprin to work you will need it. HSG test does hurt some but after the cramping is painful good luck ps I had it done and my tubes sucked. I only have 1 tube now and that is trashed

I only had brief minor cramping during the procedure and I was able to go to work afterwards. Take some Tylenol beforehand. If you're taking fertility meds, aspirin might interfere with their effectiveness. You'll be fine. Good luck!

Good luck! You might want to bring a hot water bottle or heating pad to work, I had AF-like cramps after. Don't worry it will be over before you know it and it isn't too bad.

Make sure you take something for pain.I had some issues with mu procedure and cramping so I went home after it was over. It will be over before you know it. Good Luck

Thanks girls...I'm waiting for my SIL to be ready and we're going to go. I took an Ativan (I asked the place if it was OK to take and they said yes, it actually will help you relax for the procedure) and I have IBU in my purse for when im done> i have to go to work unfortunately but i do have a heating pad there so i"ll be sure to use that if needed>

I had cramping during the procedure but felt totally fine afterwards. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

My HSG didn't hurt a bit, and it was cool to see your tubes on the screen. I have heard it's painful if you have blocked tubes though. Aleve may help. This is a piece of cake compared to the endometrial biopsy! Good luck.
