Infertility Support Group
In vitro fertilization is one of the most common and utilized ways of treating conception problems. This support group is dedicated to those beginning their journey with IVF and needing support. Join the community and share your experiences, advice, and story with people going through similar challenges starting a family.

Do:
-Exercise (helps get the crazies out)
-Get rest, sleep in, take naps, lay down, whatever. You may feel winded at times (menopur does this to me)
-Take vitamins (my doc gave me a list of what to take and I found it makes me feel better to take a prenatal with B-vitamins in them. I take PQQ with Ubiquinol now and its the best brain fog reducer and makes me feel happy again).
-Watch TV (Netflix! DVR! Funny stuff that is uplifting is better than sad stuff, don't watch sad movies!
-Practice meditation and/or prayer (so calming)
-Find the things that make you happy and do them if you can (hobbies like games, reading, making things, shopping, cooking, scrapbooking, learn something new, etc)
-Have a spa day, get nails done, shop and maintain yourself (the only thing that brings me joy during IVF is shopping...slippery slope right? lol)
-Help someone/volunteer (I have found that in my pain and desperation, it fulfills me to help someone else, pray for others, do small, achievable favors to others)
Don't:
-Watch sad movies (you will not stop crying! do this at your own risk!)
-Go to baby showers
-Not vent. Don't hold it in. Find a space to vent (good friend, journal, online...not your hubby all the time, because men don't get it! love 'em, but they are not your girl friend!)
-Don't be near people that trigger you (annoying aunt Wilma who is nosey as hell. Avoid confrontations that can lead to irreparable damages)
-Don't take on a new job/difficult task until after you've tried IVF and see what your threshold is first
-Don't overdo sugar intake (insulin spikes are not only bad for egg health, but can make you have roller coaster mood swings)
Enjoy and I hope to hear back from you about things that help you in your future IVF journey. Good luck and God bless!
