geeze, 18 million is good, did you mean 1.8 million, and yes, if you have low count low motitliy you can do ivf, i had a lap, it was not bad really the worst part is they blow your belly up with gas, so after the gas tries to escape, and with me, it went up near my sholders, it hurt, a nd i couldnt take a deap breath for a couple of hours, but it was nt bad and recovery was quick, we were told we would nefver have our own kids, and we have 4 now, through iui and ivf, so good luck to you,

I have had 2 laparoscopies, both to remove ENDO and cysts in my ovaries. My husband also had morphology and motility issues and a varicosele in his testes, we tried for 5 years.
The OP's were not nice, but it removed the ENDO and cyst which meant i could do IVF.
As far as sperm goes, they do a sperm wash which removes the bad sperm from the good ones, as everyone knows we only need 1 sperm for a pregnancy, you hubby could popluate Australia.
We did one cycle of IVF with Accupuncture and it worked first time, i believe we would have not been successful without my herbalist working with me. So really you dont have bad news just some hurdles to go thru then you will be on your way.

i forgot to also mention, that after the lap op, it is best to not try ivf for 6 months as MANY people fall pregnant after the op as it clears the fallopian tubes and your uterus and seems to work, it didnt for me but at least it made ivf so much easier. (with ACCUPUNCTURE) x
