Going to have an HSG on Monday,I am super excited.I have always had a feeling something may be blocked up and that is the reason why I haven't gotten pregnant.I am expecting it to hurt pretty bad.My husband is coming with me to hold my hand. I would love to hear any success stories.Anybody?Thank you....

i didn't think my hsg was painfull at all, jut a little more than a pap. goog luck

Mine wasn't bad at all. I took some pain meds about 2 hours before. All was fine afterwards and even went back to work. Good Luck!

Mine wasn't bad.
I had 2 friends get pregnant the month after having it done. Hope it works for you... good luck!

Mine was not painful at all. Just a little uncomfortable! You get to see the results quickly! GOOD LUCK!

It wasn't too painful at all, but when I looked at the screen to see my tubes it really grossed me out! Not sure why, but somehow that was the worst part. (Didn't get prg after like I had hoped - tubes weren't the problem).

everyone else is saying that theirs didnt bother them at all but Just so you know...my case, I am sure is not the norm butI have a tilted vaginal cavity and uterus which made placement very difficult and oh yes painful. I guess there is actually a slight risk of lowered heart rate after it due to manipulation of the cervix and I experienced this which caused me to faint a totally embarrassing experience.I do have to say that I think that I am the exception in this case and even with all of that being said it was absolutely worth it!!!

Like many of the others have said it wasn't bad for me at all. I didn't take any pain meds or anything. There were about 10 seconds that felt like severe menstrual cramps but it was over quickly. I hope it goes well for you!
