I know some of you won't want to read this and that is ok, I've been there. But, I feel like I am living in a dream world.
Last night, for the first time in my life, after 2 years, 8 months and 5 days since we started TTC, 3 IUIs w/ meds, and being diagnosed with "unexplained infertility" I finally have my first ever BFP!!!!!
What's even more amazing is we did it all naturally! My lining was measured at 4mm the day after I ovulated, and I thought, no I KNEW, I was out this month. I figured that nothing would be able to implant in 4mm.
I would like to credit Maevebb with giving me some awesome advice on supplements to increase my lining - which I started taking 3dpo and also added my own. Here is what I have been taking daily:
Vitamin E - 600mg
L-Arginine - 500mg I think (regular dose on bottle from whole foods)
Vitex (Chasteberry) - 1000mg
Flax Seed Oil - 1 capsule don't know how much
Vitamin D - 1 capsule
Prenatal
and instead of wine I have been pouring pomegranate juice in a wine glass to make myself feel a little fancy even when I can't have wine.
Today is 13dpo according to fertility friend - though it may be 15 since they changed my O date when I thought I was at 8dpo - I think 15 may be more correct because I had a huge dip (first time) at what is now 4dpo on my chart but seems more likely to have been 6dpo if it was an implant dip. Other than the fact that my bbt didn't fall this month on 12dpo like it always does and a small stretching/pulling feeling I've had in my uterus for the past 10 days off and on I haven't had any symptoms yet. My breasts actually stopped hurting earlier than they usually do this month and haven't really started again. My numbers just came back at 264 HCG and 43 Progesterone and I get checked again on Friday.
I know this is just the first step in a very long journey that I pray will end in giving birth to a healthy baby the third week of April, but being able to even say that yes, my husband and I can apparently fertilize an egg and have it implant in my uterus long enough for a positive HPT is F*ING AMAZEBALLS!!
High hopes for all of you others! Thank you for all of your support over the past 2 years, I really never thought this day would come without multiple rounds of IVF.
