So I had my U/S yesterday.... I am going to ovulate on my UNBLocKED side this month- YAY that it's working!!

So, now we have to do our thing this weekend!! ;o)
I am excited, but I know the reality- so I am going to try my best not to get my hopes too high.

The one thing that concerns me is my BBT chart- last month it was perfect. This month I have been unable to get acupuncture done as often, and started new herbs and my chart is very "sawtooth" like- flexing up and down .4 degrees everyday, back and fourth. WEIRD. I hope and pray that my hormones are ok, and we at least have a chance. Who knows how often my "good" side works.... Any advice about BBT's? Please send Baby dust and wishes/prayers my way. THANKS!!

i wish you luck, i have heard that BBT charts can be pretty useless, so dont get too down about that.

Lord, please bless my sister right now...reach down from heaven with your mighty hand, touch her ovaries, and uterus and prepare them for this life that she wants. Lord you have placed a desire in each and every women to bare children, and the Bible says that you will give us the desire of our hearts if only we ask and believe...so Lord I am asking on her behalf....Calm her nerves, help her to think positively, and plese Lord bless her with a child...Amen

Good luck and baby dust to you! Don't know if it will help ease some of your worry, but my RE's office told me that BBT charting is, contrary to popular belief, NOT always accurate! (I was stressing out over it b/c I was forgetting to take my temp, and was, like you, noticing a lot of ups & downs, and I mentioned this to him. He said that while it's an excellent tool for women without fertility issues, for women who do have fertility problems, it's not terribly reliable - otherwise, we'd most likely all be pregnant by now!)

my advice on BBT is that it simply works you will see when you ov and if you don't. make sure you take it everyday around the same time mines at 5:30a. Do what right for you you only need at least 3 hrs of sleep. And make sure your thermometer is a basal one. good luck

I've tried to BBT for months... the best deduction I can come up with for them, is that it is only helpful for "normal" women with "normal" hormones and cycles... Mine are erratic and fluctuate as well. Yet, the doctors tell me that I AM ovulating (with meds) and that everything is OK.
I'm really tired of HEARING that everything is ok when I'm not pregnant month after month, but that's another story!! :)
Good luck to you, and don't put too much stock in the BBT when you've had higher healthcare like u/s and doctors!
