from IVF to iui's??? Anyone??

Just wondering if anyone has gone from IVF back to IUI's? I am just trying to figure out if its worth doing IUI's after I've completed 4 IVF's?? Found two clinics that may be able to do IUI's but not sure if its even worth it?? Help, any sugguestions/advise would be great! Thanks

I've never heard of that before but that's not saying it can't and doesn't happen! I say go for it!

My RE won't do that...but you never know what will work right? My doc wants us to move to IVF because of our low sperm count, it will increase our chance from 5% to 34%, quite a jump.
If this month's IUI fails then we have to consider moving up, but it is so expensive and we don't have coverage. We will probably do one more IUI which will be #4, then start saving.

my RE won't do it either so i would have to go else where and pay out of pocket that is why i'm aksing see if anyone has done it and if its worth it.

My cousin did 2 IVFs. Than went to another doctor. They put her on injections and she got pregnant on the first try. I say go for it. You just never know.

Yes it is worth it! I have a beautiful little boy because of it! We did one round of IVF in July of '09 got pregnant and then miscarried weeks later. We couldn't afford to do IVF again so we did an IUI in November of '09 and it worked. We got pregnant and had our little boy this past July. The one thing I'll say we did have to do with the IUI was we used a sperm donor. My husband has a very low sperm count and our doctor said the chance of us getting pregnant again and staying pregnant wasn't likely so that's why we went with a donor. I would say go for it!
