Also, I know four couples who have adopted. They were involved in the entire maternity care process, and birth, so they say that they feel no different about their baby than they did about their natural children. In fact, in my opinion, they seem to be more attached to their beloved gift.

Hi! So sorry to hear what you are facing. I'm somewhat new to infertility. PCOS septated uterus endometriosis. Trying two years even though this is a short time compared to others the pain is very real. Not just emotionally but physical spirituality ect. The guilt you feel keeping your partner from having a family. And just the over all guilt and insecurity. infertility is really a silent corrosive just eating away at every part of your being. I totally understand how deep the pain goes. Sorry for rambling. Here's my opinion on adoption. For me as an individual adoption is the very last route I want to take if I choose to go that route at all. I believe it's a Nobel thing and beautiful on both ends of the spectrum. For me though I want to be able to experience all the wonderful and not so wonderful parts of pregnancy. From seeing two lines on a pregnancy test. To my husband standing next to me at the hospital coaching me through the contractions. And I have no clue how I would actually feel if I ever have an adoptive baby but some part of me feels like when I looked at the child I didn't grow inside of me I'd feel some resentment and be reminded that I couldn't bare a child. I dont think at all that this is the way other feels. This is just my own individual thoughts. My own brutally honest thoughts. Hi all, I am new here and looking for to gain support and give support to others. I feel very much alone and I think it's about time I talk about my battle instead of bottling it up.

We have looked into adoption, I feel that it makes a very special love and is one of the most amazing gifts you can give to your child. Having so much love to give, if you can, definitely make your house a loving family home for a beautiful innocent child.

Personally, based on the situation you described, that would be an ideal situation for me! Someone who had a baby and just can't take of it, and wants to give it a good home - everything legal and legit... maybe it's something i haven't realized i've sort of been praying for....

Sorry one more thing to add - adoption is something that my husband and i wanted to do before we got married and started trying... now that we are that couple that is struggling, adoption just seems soooo daunting! Expensive, and time consuming , and just not an easy way out. Also, everyone wants a baby (respectfully) and there are just to many women out there who can't or won't take care of innocent babies but won't give them up either. I have a lot of friends who are adopted and it's amazing thing. Maybe i'm just not committed enough to it at this point? Sorry, not trying to be negative... i'm glad that there are others out here who think about adoption. xoxo
