Congrats on your baby girl and welcome to the boards! There's a specific group for donor eggs IVF at

It's a little quiet right now, but you might get more responses to your message over there since those ladies are your target market! :)
We're moving on to donor eggs in January. We're excited and hopeful but at the same time cautiously optimistic.
I just recently did another FET in hopes for a sibling for my daughter. I am currently awaiting the results of my beta today!
I am happy to answer any questions you may have and share experiences. I get so excited "meeting" other DE mom's on this site.
xoxo
thanks for the info. I hope all goes well with your transfer. Do you have a child already or will this your first if all goes well?
i am also 44 and have a 10 month baby girl via DE. we tried several iui's and did ivf with my own eggs with no success.. i had a few chemical pregnancies along the way but because of my age and finances we decided DE was the best option and thankfully so because we have our beautiful daughter now. i feel truly blessed!!
i would love to connect..where do you live? i live in Brooklyn, NY and work in Manhattan.
How long did it take you to find your donor? Do you have any plans to go through with another transfer?
that's exactly what we did! and we were fortunate enough to be successful on the first time with our DE cycle. i wish you the best of luck and just know that its a little less stressful in the prep for implanting because you don't have to stress about follicle growth. and one other mention about using DE..we only got to see a baby pic of our donor and know about her medical history so i have no idea what she looks like now bust supposedly she looks similar to me. But, my daughter is mini version of my husband. she looks just like him and i never ever think about my daughter NOT being from my own eggs and i truly believe if she were from my eggs she would be and look exactly like who she is today!!
Never in my wildest dreams did I think that this would be our path to parenthood but I feel incredibly blessed that this is an option for us.
Trust me, once you hold that baby in your arms... And you will!!! You will forget that she/he is not your eggs. You will be madly in love with this person you carried for 10 months and won't remember the shots, everything that you went through!! It was the best thing we ever did!!! And I also had a very hard pregnancy. I threw up until the last day!! But I would do it all over again in one second!! I now have to convince my husband:)! I wish you best of luck!!! Feel free to reach out with any questions.
