I am even more nervous/excited than I thought possible. It's at 8am which is unfortunate for me because The Walking Dead is back on tonight which means I am staying up late and having zombie nightmares...hopefully not being super-rested won't affect my ability to process everything that goes on!!!

With any luck I will be scheduled for another lap by this time tomorrow...everyone keep your fingers crossed for me!!!

Thank you everyone! My appointment went alright...my insurance doesn't cover any infertility treatments (of course), so we are going to do a sonohysterogram after my next period. Based on those results, he will either go ahead and do surgery...OR...he will pretty much nix it and recommend that I go straight to IVF. He said that there is a better than good chance that my tubes are blocked and if that's the case, IVF is basically my only option.

He also told me, and this kind of freaked me out, that if I DO conceive naturally that I need to call him immediately because there is a significant chance that it'll be ectopic. I know that it's always a concern in women with endometriosis, but I guess something about my distorted pelvic anatomy puts me at an even higher risk.

Sooo...altogether it wasn't great...but it certainly wasn't bad!
