I’m sorry for your bad news. I understand the frustration. I too wonder if it will ever happen. Wouldn’t it be nice to know that it will happen & when? Then all of this would be easier to take. I am at 2.5 years now & suffered a miscarriage in December. Now the wait for my Hcg to return to baseline so I can try again with my embryos. I hope you have support; someone to talk to. I find talking about it, especially with friends that have struggled helps. There are times when I feel strong; & brave for everything I have endured. Then there are times I just want to give up & crawl into a hole & never come out. Try to find positives which I know can be daunting. My faith is very fragile now. I just need to see this through. It has to be our turn sometime, right? Hoping to send you some love.

I'm really sorry to hear this cycle didn't work out. If it's any consolation, I don't think I know anyone whose first IUI worked out. But it is so crushing when it is the first cycle when everything definitely went exactly as it should and it still doesn't work. And it's always hard to find the hope and positivity to move forward. But somehow, since it's really the only option, we just do...and you will too. Hoping that you can move forward with IUI #2 soon and renew your hopes.

I had three IUIs fail... and that was after months of trying with other methods and interventions. But my friend got pregnant on her first IUI with twins! It can still happen... but the waiting game is hard. And the sadness of a BFN is even harder. Talk with your doctor... make revisions in your protocol, and keep going forward. It is all worth it when you see the BFP and then your sweet little baby!!!

I'm sorry that you didn't get he outcome you were hoping for. It's never easy despite having gone through it many times. I have been TTC for 3 years now too. I had a miscarriage last June and it was soul crushing but I thought it was at least a good sign that I was able to get pregnant. I didn't think it would take me this long to get pregnant again but here I am, this many months past and I still haven't yet. But I have to say, there were a few things that have come up in these past months that I don't know how I would have handled it while pregnant so I came to the conclusion that things really do happen for a reason. You just have to press on and hope for the best. It will come at the right time. This is a true test of your patience but it will be worth it. Enjoy life. Stress and anxiety doesn't help. I know it's easier said than done but you gotta try. That's all you can do. I know I struggle with it for sure. My fingers are crossed for you! I hope you'll keep us posted.

My heart breaks for you. Like everyone else, I know exactly how you feel. It feels like one of the loneliest, depressing places you could be.

I can completely understand the frustration and my heart hurts knowing so many are going through the same thing. We've done 2 unsuccessful IUIs where our numbers were apparently "ideal". We just went in for the third one last Sunday and our numbers were unfortunately not at the levels we hoped for. We just have to take it day by day and take some deep breaths.

I'm hoping you keep your chin up going into the second one, bake a bunch and hopefully there will be a bun in the oven in no time! :)

Hey littlefox - i went thru 2 rounds of failed IUI and then found us doing IVF and we had our first frozen transfer on Feb 6th. I don't have any kind of wisdom or anything, but just wanted to let you know that i'm thinking of you and hoping that you guys decide what the next step is whenever the time is right.
