Feeling like I am at a stand still

All I want is to move forward with my FET cycle. Why is it that things keep getting in my way to keep me from moving forward with my cycle. Am I not suppose to be a mom. I had my first cycle in Dec. But it was cancelled due to OHSS and now I don't have the finances to move forward. I thought it would be this month but that didn't happen. Then I thought it would be next month but I don't know. So far its not looking good. Uggghhh!!! This is so not far. Is this a sign from God that this is not suppose to happen now or not at all. I had it all mapped out for myself. I thought I would be pregnant by now. Thanx for listening, I just needed to vent.

I'm sorry it's not working out for you. I have similar anxieties and fears. I hope you are able to work together the finances for the FET.

Sorry things aren't working out for you. I'm 34 and thought I would have 2 -3 children already. But that's not how things went. I also thought I had "things" all worked out but I didn't. I finally got pregnant this past December. Good luck.

I'm so sorry that you're going through this....that we're all going through this. I've also been halted in TTC because I ended up seriously ill after a laparoscopy and I'm still recovering. I know that often people say 'it's a sign from God' in situations like this - both Christian and non-Christian people. This is one of the most unhelpful things they could say. People say it because it's easy to say and it says more about their views and struggles in understanding than it does about God. Who are we to know what God has in store for us? This world is not perfect and bad things happen to good people all the time. I don't believe that God is trying to tell you you're not supposed to be a mummy. Even if you don't end up with children I believe that God shares that pain and heartache with you. Best wishes on your journey.

I know how you feel. Trying to work aound life can be so difficult. It can be so discouraging, please don't give up. So many things have happened in my life that I thought was God telling me I couldn't have what everyone else does. I gave up on so many things to find my self unsatisfied and found that it just take work to get to, more work than I wanted to do or ever expected. God's word says that the barren womb is one of the three things in life that will never be satisfied, therefore making it one of the most painful things for a woman to endure. Never give up on your dreams. Another scrpiture states that the barren woman will be settled in her home as a happy mother of children. This is one that I have struggled with, to me it does not mean that every women will be able to concieve or adopt (though I believe that many/most will from my own expierences.) I believe motherhood can be found in many different places and His word gives me the confience to know that I will be settled and happy in time, though I a may have an unsatisfied desire for now, I know that God can fill the hole that is missing in my heart and give me the stength and confidence to move on and that I will know that my journey is over I will be settled happily in my home. Don't give up until you find you satisfaction and peace.

Everyone's journey is a different length and have different hurtles along the way. It is certain that infertility will take you to dark places. Stay has positive and stong that you can and know that you are not alone, and there are many here who will help to will help pick you up when you need it.
