Hey guys! I'm new to this group but I would like to say just reading the stories on here helps me just to know I'm not the only one going through this. My husband and I have been trying for 4 years to concieve but this year was the first year I actually told my doctor that I am ready to start fertility treatment I am almost done with my second round of clomid and I have not ovulate on either cycle .... My gyno is not very comforting she just put me on clomid and told me after this round if I had no success then she's referring me to a fertility specialist. I just wish she would explain stuff to me more honestly she kinda makes me feel dumb.... My periods are very irregular so when she was asking me how long my cycle was I told her it depends because it is so irregular and she just looked at me as if I was stupid it hurt me greatly... I just hope that we find out why I'm not ovulating .. while I brought up to my co-workers about trying to get pregnant 2 of my coworkers announced that week they were expecting then my cousin also did.... I just wanted to cry..... I hope i can announce soon too. :(

I am so sorry! Can you schedule consultations at a few fertility clinics? Maybe get an ovulation monitor? Kill it with science is what I always say, lol. Also, my ob/gyn was moving too slow at the beginning of my journey, so I just ignored him and went straight to an ivf clinic, due to my age. In the meantime, its good she has you on clomid.

Ugh why are there so many insensitive OBGYN doctors out there? If mine was better in the beginning I feel like my journey would have been so much better but I just had frustrations for over a year with her. Switching doctors is the most empowering thing I feel like I've done throughout this whole journey, good luck to you I hope you can get somebody that has a little bit of sympathy and explain things to you instead of making you feel dumb. That's awful and unfortunately I totally understand how you feel.

Thank y'all for the support. They did check I don't have PCOS they checked and I had my hsg it was normal but my periods are so irregular and I don't know why it's just upsetting. :(

If you have PCOS maybe your doctor can prescribe you Metformin along with clomid. A friend of mine was prescribed both and got pregnant on first try. I have been Metformin for about 4 months and I am about to start my first round of femara. Don't give up hope!
