I was just looking through my FB (I know its never a good idea...) and saw a video a friend of mine put up of her little girl.. and then it hit me... that little girl is the same age my little girl would have been if I hadn't miscarried after IVF... I just couldn't take my eyes off her. I just kept thinking wow that is what my child would have been like, that is what she would have been doing! I feel like someone ripped my heart out!!!

My b'day is in a few weeks... 37... my 7th year of trying to get pregnant...

just feeling really sad right now

Lina, I know how that feels, terrible!! Your angel child is watching over you, I really believe this. Big big hugs to you, and continued prayers for your success. Infertility is so hard sometimes.

I am so sorry hun. IF is a bitch since we always get those little reminders. A good friend is due the same week I was due and every little FB update from her breaks another little part of my heart since I am not reaching all those milestones in my pregnancy. Big hugs to you!

Oh I'm so sorry for your loss, the reminder and your continued sadness. I haven't been trying as long as you but I am close to your age, so I feel the stress of that too. And I too get the reminders or triggers as I call them, that just send me down that spiral. I hope you find something to lighten your heart and I'm sure everyone agrees, we're sending buckets of baby dust your way.

I'm so sorry :-( What an awful reminder. Do something to spoil yourself, because you deserve it! My FB is the devil too, but can't seem to give it up.

I am so sorry! Facebook brings me a lot of pain too, but I can't seem to quit looking at it. I have blocked a couple that is pregnant and due around the same time I was from my news feed so I wouldn't be reminded. At least on facebook, anyway.

My thoughts are with you. But do feel sad. Mourn the loss. Feel all of the emotions around having miscarried and being on this path of infertility.

Every time a person posts that they are now pregnant, it takes me a day or two to not feel the lump in my belly. It is evil, at times, but I too can't stop looking at it.

Lina, I am so sorry - FB can be evil. I lost our son at 22 weeks last January; I would was due on 6/11 and my haridresser is due 6/11 this year! It is a lot to take in.
