Hi All,
Just reaching out in case anyone else is kinda trying to avoid dealing with this Sunday... for those of us who haven't yet given our husband/boyfriend (etc) a child to make them a Father. I was actually dreading this day more than Mother's Day for myself because sometimes I just feel really guilty that it's my fault he's not a Father yet. (Eventhough that's not officially confirmed yet, but i'll still blame myself.) Especially when I see him with other kids and how their parents are like "he's so great with kids!"
Anyway, I know i have a choice to have a pity party, or to follow his lead and just pretend its like any other Sunday. I'm pretty sure he doesn't even realize it's Father's Day as he doesn't really look at the calendar lol.
I guess I just wanted to reach out to anyone else who might not be super excited about this weekend, and also to just vent to others who will probably understand at least a bit where I'm coming from.

We are at a place now, though, where we have closed the door to our infertility journey. And we're starting to build a life of a family of two, rather than more. We hope that days like this will get easier.
I do understand how you feel though. Be gentle with yourself...and remember that it's the two of you together on this journey! Sending hugs!
