I don't if that happened to any of you, but I am devasted... I am on my second round of Clomid and Friday I got a positive on my pregnancy test, I am sure I din't misread the thing because is one of those digital ones, I was over the moon, I was so happy... So came afternoon and I star to bleed a little bit, try another test, negative... Try another test this morning, negative again... Now I have to wait for Monday to hear the news on the blood work.... But AF is here...
I'm sorry, I am just venting... It is just cruel....

I am so sorry. I know words can't erase the hurt you are feeling, but I am sending you a hug. And you don't need to apologize for venting, that is what we are here for to listen and help each other out.

A year ago, I had a false positive with a digital HCP. Then started my period the same day. It was awful. I have used the ones with the lines since then. I don't know if it was the test or if I miscarried but I won't use a digital again.

I also had a false positive with a digital test. It was my first positive HPT EVER and DH and I were a mess. We screamed and cried because we were so happy with the BFP but when the next 3 HPTs were negative and so was the bloodwork we were both crushed.

It made me really mad because getting the one false positive took away the extreme joy and excitement from all other BFP. We will never experience that pure excitement again because it will always be clouded by doubt.

I am so sorry this happened to you, I would never wish this to happen to ANYONE. It is a terrible feeling.

Thanks for the support... I tis really good to talk to people taht have gone thru what me and DH is going thru... Sometimes is really hard to accept but noe it is time to move on and try again next month... It will be my last chance with clomid and then is IUI for us... Good luk to you all...

On my first IVF attempt, the nursing staff said I could do a preg test the day before the blood results were due in. It was positive and we were so happy, then the next day the blood test came back negative. It was horrible.

I am so sorry. That is that must be a horrible feeling. I can imagine the joy of seeing a positive and then devastation of it going away. False negatives are much more common, but no one is ever prepared for a false positive.
