Its always something with me. Today my nurse called me with the pathology report from my hysteroscopy. They are saying that I have endometritis, I dont even really know what that as or where it comes from. If it is not one thing its another. Now I have to take a series of antibiotics. I am just really getting tired. My ET is scheduled for Feb 8th. Im just hoping everything works out.

Hmmm... are you sure it's endo? Antibiotics aren't used for that. And I thought only a laparoscopy could diagnose endo. I had a lap last May and had endometriosis on my bladder. They removed it with a laser. Basically it's some of the lining of the uterus comes up through the fallopian tubes and collects on the ovaries, unterus or organs near by. It's not an infection or virus. Endometriosis is rather common and most women are able to have healthy pregnancies. Did the doctor refer you for surgery?

OOOOPS I'm sorry!!! I read Endometriosis! Not Endometritis! I'm sorry!! I don't know what that is either. Hmm... I'll have to look and see. Sorry about my confusion. Wishing you the best of luck!

So sorry I did have that after an iui with donor sperm. It wad said it was not me for I had cultures done and the iui was under sterile technique so of course it wasn't that. So then the donor sperm was sent for cultures and sure enough the cause was found Nothing serious thank godness needless to say we moved to new sperm bank and got full refund on prior sperm The day after my iui I had EXTREME abdominal pain and fever. I was unable to touch my stomach not even with my waist band on my pants. I was hospitalized for 2 days for iv antibiotics and then completed an oral course So it's an infection of the endometrium. I hope you are having no discomfort. Maybe it's a lesser case. But you have to complete all your anti optics to make it a safe environment for your embies. Best wishes. :)

im so sorry.... its always something different that seems to happen! hopefully those antibiotics will help with that infection inside your uterus.

it is an inflamation of the endometrium,i found out i had it after an uterine biopsy and was put on antibiotic for three weeks and then i had a second biopsy done and it was gone,i guess it is something that happens often after fertility treatments like iui or ivf, luckly it was found before your ET,i hope you feel better soon and go ahead with your transfer ,may God bless you with a BFP very soon!

I am glad that you posted this, and I cannot wait to hear everyone's responses. I just got diagnosed with endo today as well. Hopefully laproscopy can help. Are planning you to have the procedure also?

Oh I'm so sorry, I feel so dumb. It isn't endometriosis, it is endomitritis. I read it wrong. Hooked on phonics, worked for me, LOL :)

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
