Endo question

I have a question I was diagnosed with mild endo about 5 yrs ago and lately I have been having pain w/BMs. The other day it was real weird I actually had pain on the area of my right ovary while having a BM. I don't know of this is something anyone else has had before or if I should be concerened? Just wanting some info before we do a FET in Aug.

I just had surgery to remove the endometriosis and major abdominal adhesions. I used to have pain on BM too (before the surgery) and it would vary according to my stage of cycle. The pain used to be so severe I would cry. At surgery they actually found it was my adhesions causing kinks in my colon and they thought the small patch of endometriosis that I had could have contributed to the pain too. I have had to be on colace and align for the last few months since surgery and thankfully I feel so much better.
I would definitely let your Dr know about the pain that you are experiencing, it may be nothing but I would still just give them a call.

Yes, very well may be due to endo. I also had severe intestinal pain but I'm not too sure it wasn't a reaction to one of my fertility meds (suspecting it was menopur). If you're currently on IVF meds check out the package inserts that come with your meds and look at the known side effects. You can also google the drug and see the side effects from the many websites.

endo can grow anywhere! could very well be the cause.

Thaks for all the info. I talked to me RE yesterday and he said that my endo is more thatn likely back, but since I am not doing a lupron protocal that it should be fine to proceed with the procedure. I may just have to have surgery when everything is done, hopefully after I have a little one. And as far as the pain goes for those of you that have had issues when was it the worst? The past few days have been the worst, but it would be right around ovulation time (day 14). I just hope it gets better, and it isn't like that the whole time, if we get pregnant.
