Hi ladies,

Sorry in advance if this is tmi. I had a dye test on Tuesday of this week. The doctor told me to not be alarmed that there would be some brown sticky discharge after the test. Well I still have it today and I bled some. Is this normal?

We'll if it's brown it's old blood that can have stay in a little longer before your uterus pushed it out.
I wouldn't be too worried if it's just some light spotting but if there's a lot or you have pain or fever I'd call my doctor right away.

I agree with Roxy. As long as there's no pain or anything really alarming, I think it's okay. I remember my doc saying that I might have spotting too because they use betadyne (sp?) or some sort of disinfectant inside of you before the procedure, and that's brown too. I had a little of that aftermath as well.

Thanks ladies. I guess I figured that I would only having discharge for a day or so. Plus, DH and I had sex last night and I panicked today thinking that I did something I shouldn't have...
