I'm in my 8th cycle right now. I'm almost embarrassed to admit that. We've been trying for 2 years total but just one year with IVF. At this point I'm wondering why I'm still doing this. I bet the nurses at the center look at me and feel sorry for me and wonder why I keep torturing myself. We don't want to do the donor egg route, no offense to anyone who is doing it or has done it. It's just a personal choice. My husband wants me to stop IVF soon and just try naturally; he doesn't like all the drugs in my body. I may be nearing the point where I'm ready to stop IVF and just try naturally, but I'm not quite there yet. I am willing to do one more cycle after this round. I feel like my life is on hold while all this is happening, like I'm stuck and can't move forward until I know I'm ready to stop IVF and move forward with my life. You know what I mean?
