My situation is a bit different. I am only 23 and my fianc is 25.
Since we met we knew we wanted kids so we started trying. We tried everything in the book to ttc. We were ttc for about 3 years before I got frustrated.
So what am I doing here. Well, I found out, this time 2 years ago, that both my tubes are blocked. During this time, we we found out that he has no sperm count, in fact it is a condition called Klien Felters Syndrome.
Talk about a double blow.
So our only option is IVF. Oh but first he has to do a surgery to see if they are able to find sperm directly from his testies, then we can proceed with IVF. We recently decided that we want to go ahead with IVF. I get excited that we are going to get this process started. Then it seemed like all my friends planned their pregnancies because they all were pregnant at the same time.
I get so depressed sometimes, I dont feel like being intimate with him. Its lime I just dont have a need for him. I caught myself sayin to pull out before ejaculation because nothing is going to happen if you dont, so it didnt make any sense to do it. I feel horrible sometimes but I get so down, I just cant take it. I am happy for my friends but does it have to be so hard for us.
Financially its also stressful. That's why we have not started as yet. We've had deaths in the family and his father is sick, so we need the money else where. I went as far as to get a loan to help pay for the fees, we sold our cars and got something cheaper. I dont know what else to do....!!!!

I know others have had that type of surgery to look for sperm, so some people on here may be able to help. As for blocked tubes, IVF cuts that all out, so you should have a great chance for success on your end. It is really hard to save for all the tests and IVF. Take it one step at a time and celebrate your small victories.

I know that when things are tight financially this is really hard, but I would plan a weekend out with your hubby. You can do things like fishing, going for a walk, or other cheap/free actives (whatever is around your area). Just get out of the house and try to reconnect.
You are obviously doing everything you can. Keep your head up and com vent whenever you need. We're here for you!
