1. Every doctor does things a little differently. Do not panic if someone used this med and you aren't...
2. Ask questions. That is what you doctors and nurses are there for. I made more after hours calls than I have in my life. I stressed about it at the time but am glad I called.
3. If something does go wrong or you take the wrong dose there is a fix/adjustment for everything...don't panic.
4. After going through many many cycles of iui and a few ivf I really worked at letting go (this was one of the most difficult things for me). Truly though, much of this is out of your control...from your response to meds to whether or not it works. The stress and worry helps nothing! Control what you can...your attitude and outlook. Oh, and lean on us! Good luck!!!!
All lean protein, about 60-70 grams a day (pretty much chicken for every meal!) and as much organic as possible.
Any fruits and veggies, particularly daily servings of fresh cut pineapple. I also ate blackberries every day, though no idea if that has any effect either way.
No dairy (I drank almond milk), sugar, artificial sweeteners, processed foods, white flour, caffeine or fried foods.
My daily diet (while boring) was pretty much chicken, salad, whole grain natural bread with all natural organic peanut butter, organic cereal with almond milk, and oatmeal. At the end, my doctor wanted even more protein and recommended Ensure too.
I just lightened up a little on my diet after finding out I am pregnant last Friday. I can't promise it will work for you, but if I didn't feel crappy from the hormones, I bet such a healthy diet would have made me feel great! :) Good luck!
