my stepdaughters bio mom...who moved 200 miles away from the 3 kids she doesn't have custody of....is having baby number 5! she just had a baby in october who was born with thc and opiates in his system and now she is pregnant again! i'm so mad! God really got some prayers mixed up. I feel so devastated. I want to cry but I don't want to give in. I still want to believe my day is coming. but when things like this happen it's hard to keep hope....

I am so sorry. I feel that way, too, when I hear these sort of things. Women all around us - who do NOT want to be pregnant or do NOT deserve to be - are having no trouble conceiving (especially when they aren't trying). Yet here we are - stable, loving women who are DESPARATE for children - and we have to struggle every day. it is not fair and it's ok to feel angry and upset. big hug to you

I understand your frustation and I will NEVER understand why people who shouldn't be having babies just pop them out!

don't get me wrong I love my stepdaughters, i've been with them everyday for two years, i've helped raise them. But it's not the same as holding your own child in your arms from birth and seeing a part of you in them. Instead when I look at them I see her. My husband hasn't said a word about it, just keeping it all inside and i'm being emotional about it. As much as I don't want it bothering me it does a great deal. Here's a woman who already had 3 of her children taken away from her and she's been blessed with two more since then. five babies before the age of 30 and not one of them has the same father. I just dont get the Lords plan right now.

Urgh! I hate that. I'm so sorry to hear. I hope your day comes soon.

I understand how frustrating that can be. I work in child welfare and often find myself venturing to the NICU just to hold and comfort the poor, little babes born drug addicted, suffering through withdrawal. It feels so incredibly unfair, because IT IS! I still haven't found a way to understand how this sort of thing happens. It must be really frustrating having it that close to home. Hang in there! You're not alone in your IF journey, or in thinking that the women like your stepdaughters' mom being pregnant is totally unfair and some sort of cruel trick. Best of luck!
