Hey all
My name is Tracy and I'm 32 years old, my husband is also 32 years old and we recently this summer started seeing a infertility specialist. I learned that I have a double uterus with chronic endometriosis. I'm at the early stages but I'm already distraught, everyone tells me it will happen but going through this feels like It wont happen. I had a procedure already to help with pain but unfortunately the chronic endometriosis has damage my right side and my left side seems to be starting the same way the right side did. I need another procedure to see if they can get in there and help clear the damage. On top of that she wants to give me injection to suppress my periods!!! I'm like great, this is what I need lol everyday is a different emotion and it doesn't feel easier each time. I wanted to join a group to feel like I'm not alone and support as well as receive support because this is so difficult and at times I feel isolated from the world, crazy. Today was a bad day and I just cried, tomorrow is another day!

I am so sorry for the challenges you are facing on your journey! It's so difficult to feel like time is out of our hands, and the prescription for each new step is "more waiting" followed by "more waiting." It is so difficult to feel time passing by and the steps toward even getting the uterus ready are so painfully slow. I too have a double uterus, or so they thought. After 2 years and several failed IUI's they did a hysteroscopy to discovery that I do not have 2 separate uteruses (uteri?), but a single uterus divided in half by a full septum. I share this only to relay that understand and empathize with the slow pace it takes to "get the uterus ready" and how it feels as though there is another obstacle around each corner! Infertility is so incredibly isolating, its difficult to find validating and reliable people to lean on. I found therapy very helpful, if that is something you are open to! Best wishes your way!
