Sorry you're going thru this.... What has help me has been Therapy and forgiveness of your self, and others. go on youtube and type self forgiveness. It will calm you and hopefully forgive others for their comments. they might just mean well but because one is so sensitive we see it different.

Hi my name is Claudia. I completely understand how you are feeling. I honestly think the emotional aspect of this journey is 100 times more difficult than the physical. My husband and I have been going through fertility treatments for 3 years. I found out yesterday that my sister in law (who was a fellow infertile warrior) miraculously got pregnant. I was disgusted with myself for being so angry and sad and jealous. I have not stopped crying and had to call out of work because my eyes are so swollen. This journey is one that so many in the outside world will never be able to understand. That is what makes it feel so lonely. I think by us being on this site and taking the steps toward getting the support we need shows the strength and resilience that will eventually lead us to a better place. In the meantime, we have each other. Thank you for sharing your feelings on here. Know that by doing that, you have helped someone else.

I am so sorry you are having to go through this. I have also been going through this for just over 3 years and have found myself struggling with who I even am anymore. I miss the happy bubbly person I used to be. I also get the, you're still young, it'll happen and just be patient! Big eye roll... I hate how painful it is seeing babies or pregnant women or hearing an announcement. I wonder if this will get easier or if I will always feel like this. My husband does the same as yours. He seems so positive all the time and I truly feel like he doesn't understand my roller coaster of emotions everyday.. this group has made me feel so supported and given me a true outlet. I really hope it does the same for you. Be honest and know we all know what you are going through. You don't have to do this alone. Hopefully you find reasons to smile today. You deserve it.

Hello hun! I'm so sorry you’re feeling this way. I recognized myself in your words. I know how you feel and I am truly sorry for both of us. Infertility is really hard to go through. My husband is very supportive. But you are right. They will never understand how exactly we feel. I'm sick of doctors, treatments, medications and empty hopes. I fall into depression a long time ago. Sometimes I feel like I will never get out of it. I'm crying so often, my eyes are swollen all the time. I forgot the last time I was laughing and was feeling really happy. People around me don't understand. We've been trying to conceive for 8 years and all this time I've been hearing ignorant advices from people. They say I should distract myself or wait until it will happen somehow. I understand this is not their fault. But I'm so angry sometimes because they say nonsenses. They just don't understand and they never will. We are going through a battle and we are all by ourselves in it. I know exactly what you're talking about. Long ttc, my disease and infertility changed me completely. Now I'm a different person then I was before. To be honest I don't like a person I became. I used to be very positive, funny. I loved life and I was always trying to find good side in everything. Now I am sad, upset, depressed, stressed and disappointed. I can't even say I live my life. I exist and wait for miracle to come into my life. I think "when I will have a child everything will change" or "I will be happy when I become mother”. Some people tell "find a distraction" or "enjoy every minute, everything is going like it's supposed to be". I don't think it works this way. At least for me it has never worked. I should say now I feel a little bit better. The reason of it is that we found option which may help us to become parents. The idea of using donor eggs came to our minds not so long ago. I feel much better knowing that there is a chance for us to have a baby. Honey I hope you will find the way out from this vicious cycle and become a happy mother!

Although it breaks my heart that there are so many of us going through this exact extremely rough journey it has helped me so much within the last few days to read I am not alone and to see It's normal to have these emotions. For a second I thought I was crazy because my husband didn't feel the same all the time. If my couselor shares a good way to cope I will share! I honestly don't think I have cried since I have wrote the post because of all the kind words. I'm still not sure how exactly I will distract myself from constantly thinking about if I will ever be able to have a family but I think I can be stronger when it comes to others ignorant comments. The most positive vibes and baby dust to each of you!!

Just wondering where you ladies are from? I'm from South Texas and I go to IVF doctor in Matamoros México. A lot of ladies from all over the US go to him. One round of IVF here is about 3 IVFs over there. Just wanted to share with you guys. I pray we all get our baby soon!

I totally get it. We've been ttc for 2.5 years and have been going through fertility treatments for a year. There are some dark days and it's easy to slip into depression.

Take care of yourself, find a counselor, get acupuncture, and plug your ears to people telling you to just relax. They don't get it. And your husband can be super supportive but even he doesn't fully understand. Just a few things I've learned along the way. I'm new to this site and am finding it helpful.

Thank you for the advice ladies! I am from Utah. I know that when we do start to explore the options of Adoption or IVF we will look outside of the State because I don't think we could financially afford otherwise. I think one of the things that has made this last month so difficult is because my parents are actually adopting my two little cousins that are 5 and 8 because they are being taken away from their parents. I don't understand why my drug addict cousin was able to have kids and how could she abuse such special gifts she was given. Not only that my sister in law had my new phew and although I am extremely happy I did have to excuse myself from the hospital after I held him to pull myself together because that's her moment. Although my husband is supportive and understanding he doesn't seem to fully understand how this affects my day to day living.
