I am so so sorry. Please know that you are not alone in this struggle. I have been through 5 miscarriages, 9 IUIs and am now doing my first IVF. I think the miscarriages are the cruelest of all. Feeling as if all your dreams are coming true and then ripped from you so soon is devastating. Your feelings are completely normal. Take time to grieve this BFN and who knows, when you are feeling better you may be up for another round. If you conceived once you can do it again!

I am so sorry! However I have came across some research that said the embryos on a FET can sometimes take longer to implant...thus making your HPT still negative! I am hoping and praying I'm right!!! :)

When is your beta? FET's are late implanters. Dont lose hope yet...

I'm with angie222- I think it is too early. I tested negative with HPT the same day I got my beta and I was pregnant. Wait it out until your beta and don't even take HPTs seriously right now.

I am so sorry for what you are going thru...I will be starting my 1st IVF soon so I don't know exactly what you are going thru just yet. Keep your head up, think positive and remember good things do come to those who wait.

I will continue to hope for you that this pregnancy test was just too early, and that your FET is just a late implanter.

I know exactly what you mean by feeling cruelly teased though -- after 4 miscarriages, and now being told that it may be too late for IVF, it all seems way too incredibly unfair. I don't understand why I ever got pregnant in the first place -- it would have been easier just to have been infertile from the start rather than continually getting my hopes up all along.

I too miscarried (at 8 weeks) after my first FET in March. It was horrible to have our dreams ripped away so quicly. I am about to start my second FET cycle tomorrow and I'm terrified. I'll be disappointed if it doesn't work and I'll be scarred of the same thing happening again if it does work. I am going to be a basketcase for the next month. My husband and I aren't going to be at this for very much longer. We won't ever be able to concieve naturally either. The cost has been overwhelming and we've been at this for three years. We want our lives back and we want to be able to be happy again. I think we are soon going to come to the point where no matter how many times we try, it just may not work. We are going to start the adoption process when enough is enough. I understand your frusteration, but God has a plan for you. Have you thought about adoption as an alternative to the cost and the emotional anguish of IVF? Not that it would be easy (or cheap) to adopt, but at least at the end of that journey, you would have a family. I wish you a lot of luck, what ever you outcome is over the next couple of days.
