I started my Menopur and Follistim shots last night and already have had two witch moments. It is really scary how cranky and irritable this makes me! The last time I did this I didnt react this way. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with the mood swings?

i have terrible mood swings too but im on gonal f. but i think all the stress attached is partly to blame. god bless

When I was on Follistim and Menopur I had some random mood swings, too. I think it is normal, plus there is a lot of emotional stress during this time. You will get through it and I will pray for your BFP!

Absolutely!!! It's crazy what will make you snap and be psycho one second. Do your best to take a deep breath and think before you react...I found that helped.

Thanks for the warning Courtney! I took my first follistim this morning and will start the menopur tonight - i'll be looking out for the moods to hit. :) Hang in there sweetie, all is well. :)

Whew!!! I thought it was just me. I'm on progesterone shots and is really scary how my mood swings. Like last night, I was bawling and can't stop coz DH was goofing around and gave me a shot at the wrong spot.

I didn't speak to my DH for an hour on Wednesday because he forgot to say NO MAYO on my grilled fish sandwich. I think that the meds have made me nuts! At least no one at work has felt my wrath...yet.

I seemed to be more moody my second time around. I hope you feel better soon. Try to remember why you are going through it :-)

Thanks for the heads up. I start menopur & follistm in a few eeks. I am already a nut case so am pretty sure i am going to get locked up once on the meds.

OMG! I think between the hormones that they are pumping us full of plus the stress and anxiety we are going through is enough to make Mother Theresa snap on the POPE!!!

Yep they make you crazy!! I've been mood swinging for three years, it just sucks.
