For the past few months my cycle has started with very light spotting for two days- so light I didn't really need to even wear a liner. Then my period would come full force- cramping and very heavy for a few days, then progressively would lighten up. This month, again, started Friday (day 28 of cycle) with only enough spotting that I saw a little when I wiped (sorry if TMI). Saturday- cramping, but nothing. Sunday morning I woke up at 4:00 am with such bad cramping I wanted to cry. Heating pad didn't do anything, and ibroprofrin only took the edge off- didn't make them go away. The bleeding however, was only clots, and has remained that throughout the cycle. I couldn't even wear a tampon because the flow was so light, but every time I went to the bathroom I would pass HUGE clots. WTH? I have never had a cycle with only clotting. By yesterday I was done with anything, but had a dark yellowish discharge- not period like. I finally made an appt. with my obgyn in two weeks- There is no way all the old crap came out this cycle- but my real concern- why the clots? Is there something else going on with my body that no one has figured out before? I can't imagine getting pregnant when there are clots forming inside of me.

Help! Has anyone else experienced this, and if so- what happened as a result??

I'm kind of freakin out that something more may be wrong with me.
