My sister-in-law got pregnant on her first round of Clomid. So there is hope! :) I, on the other hand, had to move into more aggressive IF treatments. I hope this is not the case for you. Good luck!
My one sister got pregnant on her second round of Clomid doing timed intercourse while being monitored by the RE. I have to say I'm jealous because I have done 6 rounds of Clomid without any luck, and now I've moved onto Femara with injectables (Follistim). I did have a chemical pregnancy on a cycle with Clomid though...
My other sister got pregnant with her second child on her second cycle of Clomid (her first child took her a lot longer to have).
Everyone's different, but it does help to know that some people have had success with it! I hope it works for you too! Good luck, sending you lots of baby dust! :)
But it is even harder to be around people who have had no trouble and don't get it. They don't realize how much it consumes our lives, and that we are going through a life crisis.
This support group definitely helps. It's a great place to vent and get support when you need it. I'm sorry you are going through this, and I wish you all the best!
So I kind of have a success/fail story. Ive had 3 miscarriages when my husband and I did it on our own. Our 4th miscarriage occurred when I was on clomid (i did 2 rounds and was pregnant). I call it a success/fail because we made it to 9 weeks with clomid. We only ever made it to 6.5 or less without it. We got to see the heart beat and watch it grow every week, it was truly amazing.
Although the end result was the same it was still provided hope that one day I may be able to have my baby.
Best of luck and keep us updated!
