I was hoping to give having a baby a try. Bought the ovulation kit, even found the days I ovulate. And then my labs didn't come back good, had to have a biopsy and the hardest part came yesterday. I have been officially diagnosed with Lymphoma. In the coming weeks will be doing a chemotherapy cocktail of a few different types. Its more aggressive then I have had in the past. Will be having many side effects as well as loosing my hair. I'm happy I have an amazing supportive husband but this will definitely change the future for stating a family. This treatment will take around 18 weeks. Working hard to come to terms with it all but its still so fresh.

Omg! I'm so sorry. Of all the diagnoses one can receive while ttc, I'm sure this was furthest from your mind. My heart breaks for you, but what an awesome hubby and team mate you have in this fight. Coincidence? Maybe. I watched a baby story this morning and the featured couple was told they'd never have children when she was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. It was too aggressive to "waste time" harvesting eggs. Well, they were having their third naturally conceived child. I wish you all the best during this rough time and keep us posted!

I'm so sorry to hear of your news. I know this must have been unexpected and hard to learn that your journey is taking such a big turn. I'm happy to hear you have great support in your hubby, that is really important.

I do hope this road to recovery goes quickly, and you will be able to get back to planning your family.

I'm so sorry to hear this! I really hope your treatment goes well and you don't have too many complications. My friend had to go through radiation when she was trying to conceive but once she got the all clear they got pregnant almost immediately. Hopefully you will have a smooth recovery and an easy time ttc after the lymphoma is gone. Thinking of you!
