I've had 6 IUIs, and my period after each one ended with brown spotting that gradually trailed off. I don't think it's anything to worry about. Just some older blood making its way out. Hope the break gives you the chance you need to relax and rejuvenate for whatever comes next!

I'm sure you are making the right decision. Whatever is best for your mental state is best for you overall. I am currently on a forced break due to a miscarriage, though I'm hoping to resume soon. Even though I didn't choose it, I think some time off has helped me, so I hope it helps you as well. Let us all know when you resume so we can keep you in our thoughts and prayers as well!

Thank you BHAlwaysTrying21. I'm very sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I suffered an ectopic in March and had to have surgery. After I got the clearance to try again I thought a pregnancy would happen quickly but it hasn't. I think I didn't really fully grieve the way I needed to and I think in this moment I'm needing to heal emotionally. I know God has a plan for you, for me and for all of us struggling.

Yes, I have experienced this as well. I also had a difference in length of cycle too. I believe the medications are mainly the reason for this.

Hi NextStage18 - I spoke to my Fertility Nurse and she said its very common after getting off the medication etc. Today is a good day. I feel stronger and more hopeful...guess I need a good cry and some prayer.
