I am relatively new to this process myself but here's what i've been thru. Clomid which made me an emotional mess so much that i had to stop after like 2 months tops. Went to an endocrinologist who told me i have PCOS and did something about it after just being on meds with no monitoring for years...After she gave me the all clear (and told me she doesn't see why we couldn't get pregant) went to see an RE and have been on letrozol for 6 months. Went back in Jan and discussed that IUI was the next step, however, due to scheduling, haven't been able to actually do it yet. Hoping this is the month that we can at least get it started. So annoying that out of like 30 days you have 1 DAY to do it! Waiting sucks, and you do a lot of that on this journey. Waiting for numbers, cycles, results, certain cycle days etc. Keep in mind that if you are on some meds, it will mess with your hormones and emotions. You said you are feeling extra low this time around - maybe it's the meds, maybe it's a new level of acceptance? Always talk to someone though - this is a very isolating journey, but we here have as close to an understanding on how you feel b/c we all feel it to a degree. Sending hugs and strength.
Thank you so very much for sharing your story with me, it is very helpful. I honestly have learned so much from you lovely women. Happy international woman's day to us all! I felt so lost and confused before this site and now I have lots to chew on and talk about with my husband and OB. We decided to go through with the sperm analysis and I'm going to ask my doc about helping me find an RE. THANKS so very much again
