Anyone with success on #3 (or more) IVF?

It has been almost a month since DH and I found out that #2 fresh IVF failed. Prior to that we had 1 failed IVF and 2 FET (1 resulted in chemical pregnancy). We will be doing round #3 in Jan. My RE says that if that does not work, it is probably time to move onto either egg donor or adoption. I have mild PCOS, but otherwise everything else looks good. No issues with lining, embryo quality, etc. It absolutely kills me to think that we are only 1 round away from possibly not having a biological child. Has anyone had success on round #3 (or more) IVF???

I had four failed IVF cycles and begged my RE to let me continue with IUI. I am 32 and had unexplained infertility. My RE told me you can't move from IVF back to IUI, it just doesn't work. I knew that the IVF cycles were so stressful and I really felt that the stress was part of the problem with my failures. I searched the internet and found info on the benefits of DHEA and Co-Q10 and started taking those for three months and low and behold I got pregnant with IUI on the third try! My doctor had almost convinced me to use an egg donor as well... I can't believe I almost did! I would definitely recommend getting a second opinion or going to another doctor. I showed my failed IVF charts to another doctor and he told me he thought my failures were a result of poor process at the other clinic - he said he thinks they "over cooked my eggs". I wish I had switched clinics earlier - I would definetely seek out another doctor if I were you.

I got pregnant on lucky # 3! I had 2 failed cycles before getting pregnant with my son on the 3rd. But even if I hadn't I would have gone for a 4th. My doctor hadn't even mentioned donor eggs or adoption at that point. Don't give up, maybe get another opinion. Good luck!

We were lucky on IVF # 3! My dr. talked about donor eggs since my first IVF, he didnt like the egg quality. IVF #1 and #2 were at the same clinics. For IVF #3 we changed to another clinic (different doctor), and it worked. Sometimes having a different set of eyes, or different lab can make a difference.
I also know women on this board who have beat the odds. One of them tried 2 or 3 IVFs (cant remember) and then got pregnant on her own somehow. Miracles happen. Praying for you!

Hi! I had my son on the 3rd IVF! Go for it! I would definitely look into finding another doctor.
