Anyone on Crinone?

I talked my RE into putting me on progesterone. He has prescribed Crinone which is a vaginal cream. I've heard that progesterone injections require a pretty big needle so the cream sounded better to me. I was just wondering if anyone that's been on it can let me know what they think of it...

With my first IVF cycle I used crinone. It can be a little messy so I would suggest a panty liner or light pad. Other than that it really didn't effect me much. I don't actually think the crinone worked for me but I hope it does for you!

This time around I am using the progesterone in oil shots. The needle is pretty big but it really doesn't hurt that much. I'd say I feel pain from the injection for all of 15 seconds and then it's over.

During my last pregnancy I used crinone in the morning and progesterone at night. I inserted it using an applicator (like a tampon) It was less messy than progestrone. My doctor told me to use crinone in the morning because not as much falls out. I also wore a liner just in case.

I am using it this cycle. It was fine, no mess for me at all. I am just not sure how well it worked. This is my last day of the 2ww and I am fairly sure AF has been trying to start for 2 days now.

Thanks ladies. My RE insists I don't need it and that it won't make a difference but after 2 chemical pregnancies and 2 miscarriages I wanted to try progesterone. My RE never even checks progesterone levels which I think is crazy. So he's appeasing me by putting me on Crinone. I really hope it helps!
