now I know that this sounds grose but every month I go through this. I get this paranoia every time I go to the bathroom. I am almost afraid to wipe because I am afraid to see that spot of pink on the toilet paper which basically cries out "ha ha you are not pg again this month better luck next time". every time I see it I just know that I am going to be depressed.

I total understand how you feel. My heart sunk every time when I see that spot of pink.

I'm right with you :( sometimes I refuse to even go to the bathroom

I struggle with this too. I think next IVF cycle I'm not going to even count the days. I will let the doctors decide when I need to go for my appointments. This way I don't know the exact day my enemy (formally known as my friend) is due. The calendar is driving me crazy....I remember when I would just write down when I was due and after that had not idea when it was time. I need to get back to this carefree place for my own sanity!

Been there...I don't think there is anything that can take my mind off of it during that two weeks!! Good Luck!!!

Glad I'm not alone in this! I also refuse to go to the bathroom sometimes...like I'm tricking my body?? Such a bad feeling!

HA...I'm right there with you...although I know it's not possible to get pregnant on my own so I know my period's coming, it's still depressing...maybe wear think, dark underwear to prolong the depression??? either that or play devil's advocate and dare your period to start by wearing really pretty white undies...who knows.

I remember those days. I'm glad those "set up for a let down" days are behind me. For a long time now, I've known I'll never be able to have children. There is no longer the suspense music playing as I grab tissue and prepare to wipe. LOL. Man, that sounds crazy but it's true.

I'm right there with you msdee. I can't have kids either so since I found that out, there's no more depression in going to the bathroom or watching the calender of doom.

I'm glad I'm not alone.
