I have done acupuncture for some time now and I drink the chinese teas. I am a big believer and am blessed with working with of the top practitioners in the country who is from Bejing and a fertility expert. I had my last session just before transfer and both my RE and my Acupuncturist said that I could resume acupuncutre three or four days after transfer and keep dribking the teas. I have not though. For some reason I am afraid to drink the tea even though it helped my levels and built up my lining-I am also afraid to do any acupuncture and move anything around. MY lining was as my RE said "gorgeous" at the time of transfer so i am just feeling like leaving it alone and just sticking with the progesterone that I am on, the estrogen and the baby aspirin.
Any thoughts?

We did our last IVF (June 07) with acupuncture/herbs and it failed.
Now we're doing this IVF without anything other than what RE says. I find out on Monday if it worked.
I now have some mixed feelings about it. You have to do what your gut tells you. Dont feel bad about not doing the teas/herbs at all. I hope this helps you. Dont feel pressured. Let me kow what you decide and good luck with your treatments. Hugs!

I had seen him before/after all my IUI's and my DH did too. We did the herbs, etc as we did IVF and treatments often. But, they all failed.
This last treatment, my first FET I called to get in with my accupuncturist, but as it turned out he was in China. So, for the first time I didn't see him at all around my treatment and we got pregnant. I have always heard great things about acc/fertility. But, I must say that if we are blessed enough to carry this one to term and try again for another with are other frozen embroyos, I don't think I'd do accupuncture again.

I think you should do whatever makes you most happy and relaxed. I don't think acupuncture could hurt, but maybe stay off the herbs if that's what your gut is telling you. Good luck! I'm rooting for you!
