Acupuncture

Has anyone out there had fertility acupuncture? Just started on Friday to prepare for my upcoming FET and it was amazing. 


Lots of interesting advice such as wearing socks all the time because a point in your foot is connected to your uterus and they need to be kept warm. Also drink bone broth. Disgusting, but so many health benefits for everyone including fertility. 


I'm bipolar 2 and was in an awful mood and she put some needles in my head to release seratonin and I feel so much happier and more chilled out.


Going to do acupuncture 2 times on transfer day as it gets the blood flowing to your uterus and is good for implantation.


Anyone else had acupuncture experiences?

I tried it to help regulate my cycles, to no success unfortunately. Did the bone broth, the herbs, and the whole nine yards. It was nice and relaxing, and I wouldn't mind having continued it once I started fertility treatments, but both together are just so pricey, especially after 3 months of it with no luck. The socks thing is interesting...never heard of that before, but now I want to wear socks. Haha.

Hope acupuncture helps support your FET and you have success! Certainly it cannot hurt, and if it makes you feel better in any respect, sounds like it's time well spent! Best of luck!

I have been doing acupuncture once per week for the past two months or so. I cannot say whether it works for the fertility piece since I have yet to do an FET and hadn't started yet when I was doing IUIs. I can say that my mood and sleep seem to improve following each treatment; whether it's placebo or not, I don't care since I'm of the opinion that I'll take whatever works. :) It is pricey, I agree, but if it gets me where I'm hoping to go, it will be worth every penny. I had not heard the sock thing, though, so will start to wear them - good timing since it is feeling very wintery here today. I wish you all the best.
