Has anyone had accupuncture for a FET? My RE's nurse said it couldn't hurt anything and might help. I just wanted to see if anyone else had used it before. What is the average cost people have paid for accupuncture? They said it would be $95 for the initial visit and $40 for each visit there after. I do't think that is too bad, considering how much we are spending already. I just wanted to know if anyone has had good results from accupuncture with a FET?

I did accupuncture for my FET (it started out as a fresh cycle but I overstimulated). I believed it helped, I also ate pineapple the day before transfer and for a couple days after. My insurance covered the appts so it was only 20. I also continued accupuncture until I was three mos.

My cousins wife did it on her last FET and it worked! I am going to go when I start injections for IVF. Mine is $125 for initial $75 after that. I wish we had your prices!

I would never do any assisted reproductive procedure without accupunture.

I did acupuncture before. It helped me in releasing stress and relaxing my body. I felt good after that.
It wont hurt at all. the first visit cost $95 then i paid $60 for each visit.

i did for my fresh cycle. initial visit was $95 and all the following visits were $65. For transfer, it was $245. i started it with the stim meds and continued until bfn. it was relaxing, but since my insurance did not cover it, it was costly. acupuncturists recommend you to do it for about three months for it to be effective. best of luck!

Hello, I have had 2 failed IVF's one just this week. When should you do accupunture 3 months before your gonna start the process? What kind of acupunturist do you go to? A specialist? I am gonna have to ask my dr what he thinks when I go for my follow up!

I think they recommend starting 3 mos before, but I started a month before retrieval (I overstimulated so I continued up until the FET.

I believe the FET was good work me because my body had recovered from the retrieval plus the accupunture.

Hi, I did accupuncture with FET and I ended up with twins. I think accupuncture helped. Good luck to you and sticky baby dust your way.
